Wow, I just had lunch yesterday with some people who are really into this tea party nonsense. I think they are good and thoughtful people, but they really are full of of mis-statements and outright craziness. Whever I listen to Sarah Palin, I thank GOD and American for SNL.
Some of the tidbits. This is what they said, that started my head exploding.
The militia, whatever that is, will march on tea parties because they are not allowed freedom of speech.
In my opinion, those crazies – out for their 5 minutes of fame or whatever – have had plenty of time to air their garbage. But of course, their right to be silly is protected.
President Obama is a secret Muslim and of course, was raised by Muslims in Muslim-land.
Ah, I think ithas been well proven he was born in Hawaii. It seems like most of the time he was raised by grandparents from Kansas, who were upper middle class white Protestants.
Ah, a bunch of other mush brained silliness that was almost too painful to listen to.
